My fiance is @boethiahsuggestion though I often post for him :3 I’m a queer man that uses it/its pronouns, but he/him is okay. I’m in my late 20s, and a lot of my posts are not safe for minors so do keep that in mind if you follow me.

REACHBORN: How does your character’s upbringing affect them in the present?
Maces spent a lot of his childhood trying to dissect the art of being a normal, likeable person. And hell, he got good at it more or less- but it’s still like, a lot of energy and effort to expend on just existing around other people. His mother was kind of the only person he felt comfortable not masking around, because she was also a good degree of strange and unusual.
In the present, he tends to socialize in very short bursts before wandering off to be alone for a while, and still spends a lot of energy on actively trying to beguile people.
Also, he was raised a silly little rich boy, so he tends to be horrible at estimating how much something will cost/managing his finances.
